Who am I and Why I chose design?

I think I was a designer long before I knew what the word meant.

I grew up surrounded by creativity. My grandfather was an engineer who drew technical blueprints, while my mom had an incredible talent for drawing people. From an early age, I became fascinated by details, shapes, proportions, and the process of turning an idea into something visible.
I eventually went to art school, where I realized I wanted to become a designer. I just did not know what kind of designer yet.

As the world became more digital, I began exploring creativity beyond paper and canvas. My husband, who is a developer, introduced me to digital products and technology. That was when I discovered how design could connect creativity with something much bigger.

I realized I did not only want to make things look beautiful. I wanted to understand people, learn how they think, and use design to solve meaningful problems. That is how I found UX and eventually Product Design.

Product Design brings together everything I have always loved: creativity, visual thinking, technology, solving problems, and most importantly, people. I take a holistic approach to my work by looking beyond the interface and considering the people, their needs, the context, the business, and the systems behind the experience.

Today, I see design as a way to find clarity in complexity, make technology feel more human, and create thoughtful experiences that genuinely improve people’s lives.

Looking back, I think I chose design long before I knew I was choosing it.

LET'S TALK

And make something meaningful.
