Building a Scalable Design System

Before redesigning individual workflows, I established a scalable design system that would become the foundation for the entire platform. The goal was to create consistency, improve collaboration with developers, and enable the product to scale as new features were introduced.

Components

I created a scalable library reusable components and variants that established a single source of truth for designers and developers, reducing duplication and accelerating product development.

  • Reusable Components

Standardized UI building blocks across the platform.

  • Component Variants

Supported different states, sizes, and interactions.

  • Design–Dev Sync

    Shared components reduced implementation inconsistencies.

  • Faster Product Scaling

Built on multiples of 8 for consistent spacing.
